Filthy Dirty Muck

I think that regardless of all these regulations that are trying to be made, people are still going to be exposed to these "indecent" things. I believe that in all honesty, the fact that the government is trying to hard to keep all aspects of our world "clean" and without any indecency is a little ridiculous. In some instances though, I do agree with censoring certain TV shows, songs, and movies for audiences that are younger and maybe more susceptible to being easily persuaded one way. But I also think, that at a certain point, people have to make their own decisions, and the government should not get in the way. For example, I think that it is bogus for large companies like Apple to ban the sale of certain apps just because they believe it is too explicit or indecent. Who are they to decide if something is inappropriate? They are just opinions in my mind, and everyone is entitled to their own. I feel like the government today has the thought in their mind that they need to control every waking moment of every one's lives to prevent any type of corruption from happening. In my opinion, there really is no way to stop it completely, so why not let people make their own choices?
