Recording Studio Tour
The recording industry has always been one that has sparked my interest, and given me a new respect for this particular place of work. I really enjoyed taking the virtual tours of the four different studios you gave us links to, but there were two in particular that I enjoyed most. First of all, I thought the Radio Ready tour was pretty cool in that it seemed like it was more of a local studio rather then a big name one. Also, I thought it was interesting how they said that they would help promote you around so that your name could be put out there which would allow you to get seen by more people, how nice of them! They also seemed like a credible place to go and record at because some of the clientele that they listed were larger companies that are highly respectable and known all over the country! Another tour that I enjoyed going on was the Pachyderm one. It was really interesting to me to see that such a place existed! The fact that you get to stay at some luxury house with a pool and a sauna just to record some music is surreal! Overall, the art of recording music has always been near and dear to my heart. I have such a respect for the people who day in and day out learn and know how to use such complicated equipment, yet still manage to create awesome songs!
